City Council member to challenge Gov. Abbott’s order to remove ‘political ideologies’ from roadways

After Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ordered all Texas cities to remove “political ideologies” from streets, an Austin City Council member said he is challenging the governor’s direction to protect Austin’s values for public art.
