There seems to be no end to the government shutdown after 38 days and counting, as Democrats and Republicans remain at odds over a spending bill. “The Republicans did their job. We voted for a clean CR,” Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., tells “The Hill on NewsNation.” He agrees with others that the Senate should stay in Washington, D.C., until they open the government. He estimates that the shutdown will go on after Thanksgiving. “I think the pain’s gonna continue.”
