(NewsNation) — Chick-fil-A is branching out from its signature chicken sandwiches with a new beverage-focused concept called Daybright, set to debut this fall in the Greater Atlanta area.
The standalone venture will serve specialty coffees, smoothies, and cold-pressed juices, according to Restaurant Dive. It will be operated by Red Wagon Ventures, a Chick-fil-A subsidiary created in 2017 to explore new business concepts beyond the company’s traditional restaurants.
Daybright will not feature Chick-fil-A’s core menu items but will instead focus entirely on drinks.

The name pays homage to a red wagon Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy used to sell Coca-Cola to neighbors when he was six, according to Restaurant Drive.
More details about Daybright’s offerings and future locations are expected later this year.
The concept marks Chick-fil-A’s latest expansion into alternative restaurant concepts. In 2023, the company launched Little Blue Menu in College Park, Maryland — a test kitchen-style restaurant serving Chick-fil-A favorites alongside wings, burgers, cold brew, and boba drinks.
Other fast-food giants are exploring similar ideas. Taco Bell is expanding its Live Más Café drink concept, and McDonald’s is experimenting with a broader beverage menu following the closure of its CosMc’s brand.
