(NewsNation) — Gamers will soon have a new way to play Xbox: In the passenger seat of a car.

On Tuesday, Microsoft announced a collaboration with LG to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to select internet-connected vehicles, a huge enhancement to the on-the-go gaming experience.

Using LG’s webOS Automotive Content Platform, an in-car entertainment software, select vehicles will allow passengers to stream and play games on in-car screens from the Xbox app.

“Whether you’re waiting at an EV charging station or trying to entertain your passengers on an extended road trip, pass the time by playing games keeping everyone entertained and making the journey feel more fun,” Xbox said today in the announcement.

To access Xbox Cloud Gaming in select internet-connected vehicles, players will need a Bluetooth-compatible controller, an Xbox Game Pass subscription and an automotive data plan.

So far, LG’s webOS Automotive Content Platform is exclusively available in Europe in select KIA vehicles, including the EV3.

On Tuesday, LG announced plans to supply its new in-vehicle webOS content platform to 20 million vehicles by 2030.
