(NewsNation) — DHL Express, an international shipping company, will resume its business-to-consumer shipments worth more than $800 to the United States after working with federal authorities on new customs regulations at the border.
New rules require formal entry processing on all shipments above $800, an increase from the previous minimum of $2,500. In response, DHL stopped all shipments beginning April 21.
But after a “constructive dialogue” with Customs and Border Protection and other agencies, the company said adjustments were made and it will now resume shipping.
