(NewsNation) — In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the release of the popular Ford F-150 pickup truck, the American automaker has partnered with a Utah company to make a wearable key fob holder within a belt buckle.
Labeled the “Truckle,” the product was made in partnership with A Cut Above Buckles. Each buckle is handmade primarily, requiring hours of labor dedicated to “heating metal to exact temperatures, shaping it with hammers, and engraving details,” according to Ford.
“This is craftsmanship at its purest form, where each Truckle bears the unmistakable mark of human hands guided by experience and an unwavering commitment to excellence.”

The Ford F-150 has been America’s best-selling truck for five decades. The Truckle design pays homage to the year the legendary truck was first launched, with 1975 inscribed next to an image of a classic F-150.
Who is the Truckle designed for?
Retailing for $200, the Truckle is compatible with Ford key fobs from 2018 onward.
“With the fob housed in the buckle, the truck automatically unlocks upon approach and locks when you walk away, offering true hands-free access,” Ford says.
The Truckle has been extremely popular since its Oct. 10 release, with the product already sold out online.
