(NewsNation) — A website looking to find the suspect who fatally shot conservative activist Charlie Kirk is posting screenshots and social media accounts of individuals who have made positive comments surrounding his death.
The site makes an open call to report anyone they say “supports political violence” in the wake of Kirk’s death and then posts their comments along with identifying information.
“Is an employee or a student of yours supporting political violence online? Look them up on this website,” the site states. It also urges people to send information “on anyone celebrating Charlie’s death.”
The owners of the site write that they will permanently archive the posts and create a search feature so anyone can look up comments.

The site contains dozens of posts that have been submitted or culled from social media websites. It includes the commentator’s names, job titles, place of employment or other identifying information from social media websites.
The website claims that it is not a doxxing website but a “lawful data aggregator of publicly-available information” that “has been created for the purposes of public education.”
It also states: “We seek to collect and archive instances of individuals promoting or glorifying of political violence, much like archive.org or archive.is. We firmly denounce all political violence and criminal activity.”
Doxxing refers to gathering an individual’s personally identifiable information and releasing it publicly for malicious purposes, such as public humiliation, stalking, identity theft, or targeting for harassment, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was killed while speaking at Utah Valley University. He was hit by a single rifle round fired from a rooftop roughly 200 yards away, sending 3,000 attendees scrambling for cover. Security rushed him to a hospital, where he later died.
Police continue to search for the gunman who fatally shot the conservative activist.
Utah law enforcement believes the shooter fired one shot from a rooftop on Wednesday, then jumped down and ran into a nearby neighborhood. The gunman has not yet been identified or caught.
