Former President Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama pushed back on divorce rumors on Michelle’s podcast with her brother, Craig Robinson.
When the former president joined the “IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson” podcast episode that came out Wednesday, Robinson remarked that it was “nice to have” the former first lady and president “in the same room.”
“I know, because when we aren’t, folks think we’re divorced,” the former first lady replied.

“Even in this phase in our lives, when Barack and I say something, right or wrong, it does get covered,” the former first lady said on NPR’s “Wild Card.”
“The fact that people don’t see me going out on a date with my husband sparks rumors of the end of our marriage,” she added, talking about tabloid reports about trouble in the relationship between her and the former president. The two have been married for more than 30 years.
