(NewsNation) — Harvard University and President Trump’s administration are gathering on Thursday for their first court hearing as his administration attempted to ban the university from enrolling international students.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced earlier this week that the U.S. will be firmly revoking visas of Chinese students. This development came days after Trump demanded the names and countries of international students from Harvard.
Trump has recently made several comments and social media posts threatening Harvard financially, while also referring to the college as a threat to democracy and its professors as birdbrains.
