(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump will hold his third Cabinet meeting Monday morning, a White House official confirmed to NewsNation.

The meeting will take place at 11 a.m. ET behind closed doors, the official said.

Elon Musk is expected to join, making it the third such meeting he’ll attend — despite not being an official member of Trump’s Cabinet.

Protesters push global movement aimed at bankrupting Musk

During Trump’s first Cabinet meeting, Musk gave a presentation about his efforts with the Department of Government Efficiency, and the second featured a reported clash between Musk, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy.

The itinerary for Monday’s meeting has not yet been confirmed, but it will likely delve into Musk’s attempts to slash the federal workforce.

The meeting comes as U.S. officials convene with Russian and Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia to negotiate a potential ceasefire.

Last week, Trump signed an executive order to begin dissolving the Department of Education and reallocated several programs to other departments, including shifting the nation’s student loan portfolio to the Small Business Administration.

Trump’s administration is also facing a legal battle over deportation flights to Venezuela under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which a federal judge tried to stop to no avail.

Officials are due in court Monday afternoon for a hearing on those flights and whether they violated the judge’s orders.

Other potential topics include multiple members of the Trump administration, as well as Second lady Usha Vance, taking trips to the Danish territory of Greenland, and the potential deportation of Mahmoud Khalil, a green card holder and pro-Palestinian activist arrested for his role in protests at Columbia University last year.
