(NewsNation) — Do those food delivery fees give you sticker shock? Well, DoorDash app users will soon be able to eat now and pay later.
The food delivery app and Klarna, a financial services company, are partnering to allow app users to defer payments for delivery services.
The aim is to give consumers more flexibility when it comes to their spending power.

Buy now pay later companies like Klarna became more popular over the last few years, but now, there is a boom.
They’re expanding from large purchases, such as furniture or electronics, to smaller spends like food. Once the option takes effect on the DoorDash app, people can order a meal today but pay for it later, over several weeks or months.
Payment options include pay in full, pay in four equal interest-free installments or pay at a later date.
