(NewsNation) — Tech entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg and a collection of billionaire pro-sports team owners will co-host President-elect Donald Trump for a black-tie reception the evening of Inauguration Day on Jan. 20, according to an invitation obtained by NewsNation.

Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, partnered with Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta, Chicago Cubs co-owner Todd Ricketts and his wife Sylvie Légère, and Dallas Mavericks owner Miriam Adelson to host the event.

Fertitta is set to become the new U.S. ambassador to Italy, while Ricketts is the former Republican National Committee finance chair. Adelson is a Republican mega-donor.

The three-and-a-half-hour event will take place before the inaugural balls in Washington, D.C.

Zuckerberg was once at odds with Trump after banning the former president from Facebook, owned by Meta, and Twitter — before its purchase and renaming by Elon Musk — after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Recently, Zuckerberg met with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort and donated $1 million to the inaugural fund. Zuckerberg also recently ended Meta’s fact-checking program.
