(NewsNation) — When President-elect Donald Trump takes office next month, one of the many items on his agenda is to “Make America Healthy Again.”

It’s a mission his nominee for health secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is committed to seeing through, partly by changing America’s food supply.

He wants to limit processed foods and ban food dyes, many of which are already banned in Europe.

What is coffee badging? And what are managers doing about it?

Like RFK Jr., influencer and author Vani Hari, also known as “The Food Babe,” is fed up with the Food and Drug Administration, calling foods made with artificial dye “unethical.”

“We are finally seeing leadership coming in and talking about these issues in a way that I’ve never seen before,” Hari said during a Thursday appearance on “Vargas Reports.” “This is a situation where we’ve allowed the food companies to go largely unregulated, and now we see the disastrous rates of disease on our health in America.”

Hari urged parents to “stop buying products with artificial food dyes.”

“Stop buying Fruit Loops, stop buying Cinnamon Toast Crunch, stop buying Doritos and these other food products that have artificial food dyes,” Hari added. “When these companies have figured out how to take these additives out overseas, iIt’s unethical and it’s hypocritical. … It’s up to us, the American people have the greatest hope for change.”
