SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Bob Lee’s ex-wife did not hold back her feelings toward the accused killer’s sister at the courthouse on Wednesday. “My husband was murdered. She has no right to make herself a victim in this. She can go f**k herself,” Krista Lee told reporters in the hallway of the San Francisco courthouse.
Krista Lee’s explosive comments happened on the fourth day of testimony from Khazar Momeni. Khazar’s brother, Nima Momeni, is charged with murdering Bob Lee by stabbing the tech mogul in the heart on April 4, 2023.
The highly publicized trial began earlier this month. Tensions simmered in the courtroom this week as Bob Lee’s father, brother, and ex-wife listened to more than 12 hours of Khazar testifying and defending her brother on the stand.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys have thrown hundreds of questions at Khazar. She answered each one carefully without implicating anything negative about her brother in front of a jury. Khazar and her wealthy husband are paying for Nima Momeni’s defense team of five attorneys.
The victim’s brother stormed out of the courtroom in disgust on Monday when Khazar testified that Lee was a “very erratic” person. She added, “I always encouraged him to be the better version of himself.”
On Tuesday afternoon, Khazar claimed that she received threats from Bob Lee’s family leading up to the trial.

Krista Lee’s heated moment happened Wednesday morning when reporters asked her about calling Khazar the “whore of high tower.” The unflattering name appeared in court documents filed by defense attorneys. Krista Lee referred to Khazar as the “whore of high tower” in a text message sent while prosecutors were preparing for the trial, court documents obtained by KRON4 show.
Bob Lee and Krista Lee reportedly divorced in 2019. They remained best friends and Bob Lee was a loving father for their two children, Krista Lee told KRON4. Khazar is married to a wealthy plastic surgeon and lives on the 43rd floor of Millennium Tower.

Bob Lee was last seen alive at 2 a.m. on April 4, 2023 when he left Khazar’s apartment with Nima Momeni, surveillance videos played in court revealed. The two men drove away in the alleged killer’s BMW. Thirty minutes later, Bob Lee called 911 begging for help before he bled to death from stab wounds.
Bob Lee, 43, founded the company Cash App, worked for Google as a software engineer, and served as an executive for MobileCoin. He spent his last three nights alive partying with friends around San Francisco, including: Khazar; his alleged drug dealer, Jeremy Boivin; and a nightclub DJ, Bo Mohazzabi.

The jury saw a message from Bob Lee asking Khazar for a sexual favor in exchange for a tank of nitrous whippets. Khazar testified that she and Bob Lee used drugs including cocaine, whippets, and ketamine at social “gatherings” between April 1-April 3, 2023.
For the majority of her lengthy testimony, Khazar has told the jury about being the victim of a sexual assault. She said Boivin sexually assaulted her inside his apartment during one of the drug-fueled “gatherings” on April 3, 2023.
During the April 3 gathering, Bob Lee showed up with his close friend, Mohazzabi. Mohazzabi stared at Khazar and made her feel extremely uncomfortable, she testified. She asked Boivin to make Bob Lee and Mohazzabi leave the apartment. As they were leaving, Bob Lee wrote a WhatsApp message to Khazar stating, “Get your ass in my Uber. Or never speak to me again.”
Khazar testified that she refused and stayed with Boivin in his apartment. Boivin gave Khazar LSD and three shots of GHB. “I was becoming more and more vulnerable. He pulled down my pants,” she told the jury. Khazar testified that she was sexually assaulted by the drug dealer, fell unconscious, and woke up face-down on his bed.
Nima Momeni and Khazar’s husband picked her up from Boivin’s apartment and brought her back to Millennium Tower. Khazar testified that she was crying and vomiting when she returned home.
In opening statements, prosecutors told the jury that Nima Momeni was enraged about what happened to his sister and he murdered Bob Lee as revenge. Bob Lee’s father, brother, and ex-wife have attended every day of the high-profile murder trial.

Earlier this month, defense attorneys tried to ban Krista Lee from the courtroom and accused her of intimidating Khazar, a key witness. Judge Alexandra Gordon denied the defense’s motion.
After Krista Lee made her courthouse hallway outburst to several reporters on Wednesday, Judge Gordon questioned each member of the jury about whether they heard or saw the hallway incident. The judge excused Khazar from the witness stand on Wednesday afternoon.
